Why is quality data tied to the work order?

Because otherwise it goes unused. If you cannot tell which work order, lot, machine and operator a measurement came from, the cause of scrap cannot be reconstructed afterwards. Tied to the same record, a non-conformance can be traced back to its root cause.

What is SPC for?

Statistical process control tracks measurements against control limits and shows the trend before the process leaves those limits. The AI layer flags early drift in SPC data, so an intervention can happen before scrap is produced rather than after.

Can it be used in ISO audits?

Control plans, calibration records, non-conformance and CAPA history and audit management are all part of the module. Records requested during an audit come from one place, and who created each record and when is traceable.

How is supplier quality measured?

Incoming inspection results are aggregated per supplier into a quality score, which feeds the supplier evaluation in the procurement module. Quality performance then sits beside price when a supplier is chosen.
